Obtaining a Parking Permit for Persons with Severe Disabilities

Applications for residents in the Town of Carmel are available from the Town Clerk's office or online and must be completed by the applicant and his or her physician. The application is then returned to this office with the applicant's New York State driver's license or New York State non-driver's photo identification.  The permit is issued for a period of up to five years. The permit is valid in any reserved parking space for persons with disabilities in New York State and is recognized in most other states as well.
